Zachary James Marcoux
ZACHARY MARCOUX has been in front of an oven since he was a child. His family owned a catering company that influenced his career. He moved to Atlanta, GA from Michigan when he was very young. In his free time, Zach enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the outdoors. Zach’s experience includes fine dining restaurants, corporate hotels, and private country clubs. He studied culinary arts and business management at Chattahoochee Technical College in 2009. Being raised in the south, his cuisine is heavily influenced by seasonal southern ingredients. He is an award-winning chef that has appeared on television, magazines, and cookbooks.
He is a proud member of the American Culinary Federation. He has won two gold medals in their prestige competition format, one locally in the Inland Seafood Challenge, the other in the Culinary Cup Challenge Team Competition in Orlando, FL. He also appeared in Atlanta Eats on GPB television along with several other local magazines and cookbooks. Zach enjoys supporting his community. Not only is he in the kitchen, but you can catch him promoting local farmers and businesses by demoing their products at markets and educating individuals on cooking.
